Michele Nowlin had a student struggling with academic skills and attendance in her kindergarten class at Gubser Elementary School. When that student said he wanted to be a graduate, Nowlin made the most of that opportunity.

Career Connections 2011

In partnership with the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Salem-Keizer high school students got to participate in this year's Career Connections program. Over 700 students went through mock interviews with local businesses and got invaluable experience and preparation for the future.

West Salem Robotics
