Preparing the New Schools
Battle Creek and Chàvez Elementary Schools will open this fall. Although the schools are nearing completion, there is still plenty to do to get ready for incoming students.These new schools are part of the Salem-Keizer Public Schools' construction bond that voters approved in 2008.
