On August 30, Washington Elementary School had their third annual Family Resource Day and Open House. During this event, we gave out more than 350 backpacks filled with school supplies donated by Operation School Bell.

In addition, we had several non-profit organizations on site providing services for families such as: dental screenings, eye exams, BMI screenings, shared health education, and wellness promotion. At the end, families had the opportunity to participate in a raffle for great prizes, sponsored by the Lansing Partnership Neighbor Engagement. Everyone had a great time!
