Volunteers roll up sleeves at Waldo annual spring cleanup
Donations of time, toil and materials made Waldo Middle School's annual cleanup event a huge success. Crews worked two days to spruce up the school grounds: cleaning, weeding, mowing, pruning and planting.
Sixty students and staff from Salem Academy led the way on Friday. Then, thirty-five more volunteers came Sunday to put the finishing touches on the beautification projects. Dr. Vonny at Northwest Orthodontics provided the school with flowers to plant. Vi and Jerry Conley donated more supplies. Lars at Donut Delite and East Salem Fred Meyer furnished the refreshments both days.
It was a great team effort. Thank you everyone!
