Four North Salem JROTC cadets were selected to attend the George C. Marshall Leadership Symposium located at George Mason University in Virginia. The cadets competed in an on-line competition with over 1,650 other JROTC programs nationwide. North Salem was one of the 50 schools selected to attend this event. During the trip the cadets will be interacting with other students developing different leadership techniques and will present a formal presentation at the end of the symposium. The cadets will  tour Washington D.C., Arlington Cemetery, and all the war memorials (located in the D.C. area), gathering information for their presentation. It should be an exciting and memorable experience for the North Salem Viking Cadets.
