As we continue to head into the political season there are important reminders of what Salem-Keizer Public Schools staff, as public employees, can and cannot do while on the job.

For example, while on the job, employees cannot produce or distribute political documents advocating for or against a measure. However, you can provide impartial information about possible effects of a ballot measure as long as it does not threaten a possible financial loss based on the outcome of the vote.
