Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Governmental Finance Officers Association recently notified the district’s Financial Services office that they had been awarded with a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for year ending June 2008.

The certificate is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. Its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

This excellence in financial reporting is evident by the number of awards displayed on the walls in the Financial Services office. The Financial Services office has received this award each year since 1981.
