Several months ago, the Chalkboard Project and Oregon Association of School Business Officers conducted a review of our district to look for best practices and make suggestions for improvement.

Angie Peterman, OASBO executive director, presented the findings at last night's School Board meeting. She said the review group found many best practices in Salem-Keizer and will spread them to other districts. She mentioned a few areas for improvement but overall, she and the group were very impressed with the level of commitment and efficiency with which our district staff works.
