What? West Salem new schools design workshop

When? October 28, 2009 @ 6:30 p.m.

Where? Walker Middle School, 1075 8th St NW, Salem

The Salem-Keizer School District is hosting the 2nd meeting in a series of workshops with parents and community members to see what we have done to date. The district wants to capture your input and feedback on the design of the new West Salem middle and elementary schools.

Schools are a focal point of our communites. What should they look like? You can help decide. You’ll review the results of the design poll taken at the first meeting on October 14, consider elementary and middle school building plans and detailed room drawings, and discuss options for design and next steps.

Construction of the new schools is being funded by the voter-approved construction bond measure passed in November 2008.
