Battle Creek and Chàvez Elementary Schools will open this fall. Although the schools are nearing completion, there is still plenty to do to prepare for incoming students. The video below shows the new schools and staff gearing up for the new school year.

These new schools are part of the Salem-Keizer Public Schools' construction bond that voters approved in 2008.
