Purchasing provides centralized services to the schools and departments, providing suppport for obtaining products and services for educational needs and general operations. Purchasing also provides:
- Training on proper procedures
- Preparation of bids, quotes, and contracts
- Ensuring adherence to public procurement practices
- Processing returns
- Holding vendor demonstrations
- Contract management for the district
- Training in MUNIS for requistion entry
- Cardholder trainings for Procard program
