If you missed last night's School Talk Summit, you can still provide us with input. An online version of the survey given at the Summit is available. Please take a few minutes to fill it out. Your feedback is valuable and helps us make decision regarding the educational programs in Salem-Keizer.

SURVEY (just 16 short questions): This survey is now closed.

Survey will be available for filling out until Friday, October 30.

The 2009 School Talk Summit was held at McNary High School last night (October 21). More than 300 people attended to hear Superintendent Sandy Husk's report on the successes and challenges of our school district. In addition, she gave an update on the construction bond, which is helping to fund school repairs, renovations and new schools in our district.

Her presentation was followed by a quick survey of the Summit participants with the use of "clickers." The remote-controlled clickers collected responses from the audience and shared the results instantly with the crowd.

Once the online version of the survey is completed, results from last night plus the online responses will be put together for a complete report to our community, which we will share with you.
