Roth's
School Partners: Salem-Keizer Public Schools

Pictured: Michael Roth (far left), and managers from Roth's six Salem stores, Robert Coronado, Gene Schlabach, Greg Nixon, Jim Stiffler, Georgia Marsh, Bob Wolfe, with School Board Chairperson Rick Kimball.
Roth's has been very generous to our schools for many years, from donating water and popsicles for Fun Runs, Jog-A-Thons, and field days, to ice cream for open house, and a cake to celebrate Salem Heights'100th birthday.
They have displayed our student artwork, allowed our students to create art out of shopping bags for their customers, and put out collection bins to collect Campbell's soup labels. Roth's have donated gift certificates for carnivals, and advertise our events on their reader boards. They donate a great deal of bakery goods for school events, and have donated an average of $1,000 in bottle and can refunds. They discount the cost of our party supplies and food goods.
For several years, Roth's has paid for the bus transportation for fourth- and fifth-grade students to visit the Oregon Gardens in the spring for an environmental education trip. They also host field trips at the market for some of our first and second graders. In addition, Roth's managers oversaw a Job Shadow program, giving hundreds of fifth graders real working-world experience in the store.
Thank you Roth's for your commitment to our schools and the children of this community.
