Membership
The Salem-Keizer Public Schools School Board appointed 15 members to the newly formed Citizen Bond Oversight Committee at the regular meeting on April 14.
During the 2008 bond campaign, the school board committed to the public that if the bond measure was approved, a citizen oversight committee would be formed to help assure bond projects are delivered on time and within the promised scope and budget.
The Citizen Bond Oversight Committee is a subcommittee of the School Board and will act as a review committee. Areas of review will include the management plan, quarterly reports, and accountability issues.

Additional members were added by the Board at its June 9 meeting to represent business and ethnic minority communities. New appointees include:

- Susan Hill-Smith
- Betty Pataccoli
- Nathan Wuerch
Three school board members serve as liaisons to the committee – Board chair Steve Chambers, Board vice-chair Ron Jones, and recently elected Chris Brantley. Salem-Keizer Education Association will appoint one SKEA member to round out committee membership.
