Progress continues on the two new bond-funded elementary schools being built in East and South Salem. Following are details about the plans for each new building.
Names for the new schools will be determined through a process that involves public input collected by the Citizen Bond Oversight Committee. The School Board makes the final decision on school names. Nominations for new school names are open through November 30, 2011.

Bond funds are dedicated to projects associated with the 2008 voter-approved bond measure, and cannot be used for school operations. Thanks to the community's support of the bond, students will experience less crowded schools, and safer, healthier, more efficient learning environments.
